Collaborative Divorce Practice is an alternative dispute resolution for dissolving a marital relationship. It is a voluntary process in which couples have an opportunity to settle the issues related to their marriage without resorting to litigation.

The Collaborative Team typically consists of an Attorney representing each party, who will represent the best interests of their respective client while maintaining the overall goals of the collaborative process, the Mental Health Professional/ Family Specialist, who provides parents with information and guidance to help their children through this process and also work with the parents to develop a parenting plan draft, assist with communication among the parties and also the professionals on your collaborative team, addressing any conflict arising throughout the process, as well as the Financial Specialist, who provides financial education, guidance and analysis as well as assistance with gathering and analysis of financial documentation including income, assets, debts and expenses.

By sharing in the belief that it is in the best interests of families involved in the divorce process to avoid litigation, and committing to settling your case without court intervention, adversarial techniques or litigation, you have the opportunity to engage in an honest, cooperative process that allows for the future well-being of each family member.
